Participant actions which contradict these expectations may result in removal from the events, and/or the cancellation of future participation.
Additionally, Venture for Canada is committed to providing a work and learning environment in which everyone is treated with respect and dignity. Harassment will not be tolerated. Harassment means engaging in a course of vexatious comment or conduct against another that is known or ought reasonably to be known to be unwelcome.
Staff, volunteers, supporters, and participants are encouraged to report any incidents of harassment verbally or in writing to the Director Learning Design (Anna Smith) directly. If that option is unavailable or unsuitable, the report should be shared with the Director of People Operations (Erin O’Hanley).
All reports will remain confidential. Venture for Canada maintains a commitment to investigate and will, if needed, defer to legal counsel and/or a human resources consultant.
