Set up your personal Notion workspace before you begin
You’ll use your own Notion workspace to complete program templates and organize the work you create. Do not add your answers to the original program pages.
Set aside about 10–15 minutes for this setup. You only need to do it once.

💡
Duplicating makes your own copy. Moving it puts it in your portfolio.
Your portfolio is one database that holds your work. Each activity is a page you add to that database.
Duplicate → Rename → Move into your portfolio → Set Week, Type, and Status
You only need one portfolio for the program. You don’t need to start over if your workspace looks messy.

Before and after: one activity
This is an illustrative example—not a view of your personal workspace.
Before: separate pages in your personal workspace
- Alex — Solopreneurship Portfolio
- Alex — Craft Your Offer Statement ← editable activity copy, still outside the portfolio
After: the activity lives inside the portfolio
- Alex — Solopreneurship Portfolio
- Alex — Craft Your Offer Statement
In the portfolio’s Start Here table, that activity becomes an entry with its own details:
| Name |
Week |
Type |
Status |
| Alex — Craft Your Offer Statement |
Launch |
Offer |
Drafting |
This is an example only. Choose the Week, Type, and Status that match your actual activity.
Five-minute walkthrough: organize one copy
- Find your personal portfolio.
- In your personal workspace, open “Your Name — Solopreneurship Portfolio.”
- If you haven’t created it yet, follow Step 2 below. Don’t duplicate the full portfolio again if you already have one.
- Find an activity you already duplicated.
- Use Notion search and type the activity name. Check that you’re opening your editable personal copy—not the VFC original.
- Rename it “Your Name — Activity Name.”
- Move that copy into the portfolio database.
- In your activity copy, select ••• → Move to.
- Search for your personal Solopreneurship Portfolio and select the database itself, not just a page containing a link to it.
- Both the activity copy and portfolio should be in the same personal workspace.
- Check where it landed.
- Return to your portfolio and open Start Here.
- Find the activity’s name, then open it to confirm your work is there.
- Organize it.
- Set Week, Type, and Status using the available options.
- For example, a Launch offer activity you’re writing could use Launch · Offer · Drafting.
- Open By Week to find it under the chosen week, or In Progress to see work marked Drafting or Feedback.

✅
You’re done when: You can open your activity from the portfolio’s Start Here view and see your own work inside it. You don’t need to make another copy.
